Redesign, Redo, Redraft….

Redesign, rededicate, redo……the website looks a bit different after some serious digital spring cleaning . I will focus more on my writing, but I am still a registered KZN battlefield guide, so any tours that do land on my front porch will get the attention they deserve.  I have removed myself from Peter Dickens’ history site and page, because the toxic atmosphere and Boer bashing dished out there on a regular basis just did not sit well in my head anymore. Their research is paper thin, which is a pity, but I guess you just cannot win them all. I do not engage in disputatious contumely on any Facebook page anymore, as it is simply not my style now, so I have left well enough be. Their contempt of SADF veterans is also a great pity, as Peter himself is a former member of the Infantry. The man is not an unpleasant bloke at all, but I have had enough. Thanks all the same.

Anybody who knows me on a level I would allow, will know that I always have a spot and a cup of coffee for a vet at my fire. Army or Police, no matter. On that note I will end off this chapter. There are many more out there that are clamouring for my attention, and I have little time. My eyes are starting to retreat under the strain of the computer glare, and I need to get my hands into the soil again….Happy Trails, all.

Johann
